What
Heartworm Preventative is Your Dog On?
SAH
has had some complaints recently about the palatability of
Iverhart Max- some dogs just don't like how it tastes! If this is
the case with your dog, call us and let us know. You can return
the Iverhart Max for a new brand of heartworm preventative we are
carrying called Interceptor.

New
Extended Hours!
Do you work 9-5 and have a hard time getting your pet in for
appointments during office hours? Now in addition to
alternate Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, we are now open
every Wednesday and Thursday from until 7:00 pm for appointments!

Twice
Yearly Wellness Exams
Consistent with our commitment to your pet's health, we are
recommending a 6-month wellness program for all of our
patients. Why? Just because your pet appears healthy
on the outside does NOT mean they are healthy on the inside.
A physical examination once a year for your pet is the same as you
seeing your doctor once every 7 years! Twice-
yearly physical examinations help detect significant health issues
which can occur in a short period of time, such as cancer,
diabetes, arthritis, heart disease and metabolic disease. With
a complete physical examination every 6 months and routine
blood screens, we can detect, treat and potentially even prevent
health problems before they become life-threatening.

Order
items for your pet online
Sunderland Animal Hospital has recently formed an exciting new
partnership with VetCentric, a home delivery company of both
prescription and non-prescription items. Because manufacturers
sell directly to Vetcentric, all products have the manufacturer’s
guarantee, just as if you were buying them at the Animal
Hospital. VetCentric works directly with our veterinarian to
ensure customer satisfaction, and provides you the ease and
convenience of ordering online. In this way, SAH is able to
broaden our inventory and provide a wider range of products.
